JENNY BECKER focuses her practice on advising life science companies on a range of compliance, litigation, and enforcement matters involving the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, current Good Manufacturing Practices, and regulatory inspections.
Jenny focuses on counseling clients across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, cosmetic, and over-the-counter (OTC) industries, on compliance and current good manufacturing practice (cGMP) matters, site remediation, FDA enforcement responses, and internal investigations.
Jenny’s clients include multinational corporations, financial institutions, and emerging companies operating in highly regulated life sciences sectors. She has represented clients in complex domestic arbitration proceedings, securing favorable outcomes in high-stakes commercial disputes. Her prior experience at the National Institutes of Health included work in both clinical research and policy, and she is a published author of two peer-reviewed scientific articles in the clinical research field.
Jenny earned her J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she graduated with high honors, was a James Polk Leadership Fellow, served as Submissions Editor of the Columbia Science and Technology Law Review, and participated in advanced mediation. Her student note was awarded the Julius Silver Award. During law school, she clerked in the U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Division. She earned her undergraduate degree from Duke University, where she received degrees in public policy, genomics, and economics.
