Tony Feuerstein

TONY FEUERSTEIN focuses his practice on representing both financial sponsors and strategic clients in a broad range of public and private merger and acquisition transactions, including both negotiated and unsolicited transactions, tender and exchange offers, mergers, leveraged buyouts, stock and asset purchases, divestitures and cross-border transactions.

Tony has extensive experience advising clients in a broad range of industries, including healthcare, financial services, hospitality, chemicals, manufacturing and business services. Over the past several years, he has also focused on representing healthcare providers, including large hospital systems.

Tony advises private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies with respect to governance issues and strategic transactions, including advising with respect to liquidity events, leveraged recapitalizations, add-on acquisitions, divestitures, strategic joint ventures, shareholder agreements and corporate governance rights.

In addition, Tony provides clients with general corporate and securities law advice. He has served as corporate counsel in bankruptcy and workout transactions and restructurings.

Prior to joining Sidley, Tony was a partner at another global law firm. Tony also worked for two years as an economist at the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
