
Biography
JAKE GRIGGS advises clients on regulatory and compliance matters arising under federal securities laws. He also represents clients in connection with investigations and enforcement actions brought by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.
Prior to joining Sidley, Jake worked as a legal extern for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority’s Department of Enforcement. He also served as an honors intern with the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Enforcement.
During law school, Jake served as associate editor for the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Constitutional Law in addition to participating in the Democracy Law Project and completing the Wharton Certificate in Management Program.
Before entering law school, Jake worked for the Pennsylvania State University’s Office of Government and Community Relations as a legislative researcher.
