
Biography
KETAN GUPTA focuses his practice on corporate and securities matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, capital markets, and corporate governance.
Prior to joining Sidley, Ketan served as a summer judicial clerk at the Supreme Court of India.
While attending New York University School of Law, Ketan served as managing editor for the New York University Journal of International Law and Politics, and as professional development chair of the South Asian Law Students Association.
Ketan is fluent in Hindi.

Representative Matters
- Advising Kyivstar and VEON on Kyivstar Group Ltd.’s US$150.9 Million Secondary Offering of Common Shares.
- Advising joint bookrunners and lead arrangers on Ardshinbank’s US$600 million Eurobond issuance.
- Advising UpEnergy in connection with a US$200 million bond issuance by the World Bank, which mobilises US$30.5 million for UpEnergy’s clean cooking programme authorised between Ghana and Switzerland.
