
Biography
DAVID HOFF focuses his practice on corporate and securities matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, capital markets, corporate governance, and shareholder activism.
Prior to joining Sidley, David worked as a director at an artificial intelligence and cybersecurity company, where he oversaw product strategy and communications in the run-up to its IPO.
While attending New York University School of Law, David served as a staff editor of the Journal of Law & Business.

- MediaNews Group in its sale of The Detroit News, a 153-year-old print and digital news organization, to USA TODAY.
- Ancala, an independent infrastructure manager, in its acquisition of a portfolio of pipeline-connected sites and storage facilities for the production, storage, and transportation of critical chemical intermediates from Hexion, an American Securities portfolio company.
- Lineage, Inc. (NASDAQ: LINE), the world’s largest global temperature-controlled warehouse REIT, in the US$247.0 million acquisition of multiple, existing cold storage warehouses and related assets from Tyson Foods, Inc.
