Nisha Jain

NISHA JAIN focuses her practice on domestic and cross-border energy and infrastructure transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, private equity investments, financings and equity arrangements of all types, and project development.

Nisha represents sponsors, developers, private equity and strategic investors, and other key market participants in the renewable and conventional power, infrastructure, and data center sectors. She has experience across energy transition and traditional energy, including solar, wind, thermal, biofuels, waste-to-energy, specialty chemicals, conventional gas and power, and infrastructure projects.

Nisha takes a practical approach to her matters, managing risk while efficiently advancing her clients' commercial objectives. She has completed more than US$25 billion in energy transactions.

Nisha earned her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. While in law school, Nisha served on the editorial board for the Virginia Tax Review. Nisha received her B.A. from Cornell University.
