Ashley Moulder

ASHLEY MOULDER focuses her practice on energy and corporate matters.

Ashley earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from Brigham Young University J. Reuben Clark Law School. While in law school, she received the "J. Reuben Clark Award." She graduated with a M.P.A. from Sam Houston State University and B.S. in psychology and political science from Brigham Young University. Ashley also volunteered with the Peace Corps in Ethiopia.

Ashley’s recent experience at Sidley includes:

• Stonepeak, a leading alternative investment firm specializing in infrastructure and real assets, on its US$1.3 billion preferred equity investment into Princeton Digital Group (PDG).
• Prospect Medical Holdings, Inc., a California-based hospital operator, and several of its subsidiaries in its ongoing Chapter 11 cases in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas. With over US$2.2 billion in outstanding funded debt, Prospect’s Chapter 11 cases are among the largest filed in 2025.
• Sale of seven asset packages in connection with OYA Renewables Development LLC, a Boston-based developer of large-scale solar projects, and seven of its affiliates in their Chapter 11 restructuring of US$86.825 million of funded debt in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
• A fund managed by Macquarie Asset Management in its agreement to acquire a 49% equity interest in Diamond Infrastructure Solutions (Diamond) from Dow Inc. for approximately US$3.0 billion. Diamond provides specialist infrastructure services to Dow and other industrial customers at five Dow manufacturing sites in Texas and Louisiana.
• Coastal Waste & Recycling, Inc. in its acquisition of Southwest Waste, a leading independent waste-hauling and recycling company on Florida’s west coast.
• MIP VI Holdings II, LLC, an affiliate of Macquarie Asset Management, in its acquisition of Coastal Waste & Recycling, Inc., a waste hauling and recycling company based on Boca Raton, Florida with operations in Florida and Georgia.
• Premium haircare brand K18 in its agreement to be acquired by Unilever.
• Greene’s Energy Group, LLC in its $30.3 million sale to KLX Energy Services Holdings, Inc.
• Hero Mighty Patch® brand in its US$630 million acquisition by Church & Dwight Co., Inc.
• Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners and Oryx Midstream Holdings LLC, a portfolio company of Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners, in a joint venture with Plains All American (Nasdaq: PAA and PAGP) of their respective Permian Basin assets, operations, and commercial activities.
• Swift Current Energy, a private renewable energy developer, in connection with a joint venture with Enel Green Power to develop a 185MW nameplate capacity wind farm in Illinois.
• NuStar Energy L.P. in its US$750 million term loan agreement with funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management, L.P.
• Oryx Midstream Services LLC, a portfolio company of Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners, in its acquisition of the Outrigger Crude Oil Gathering System in the Permian Basin from a subsidiary of publicly traded Targa Resources Corp., for a purchase price of US$135 million.
