SIDNE NORMAN focuses her practice on corporate and securities matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and capital markets transactions.
Prior to joining Sidley, Sidne served as a legal intern for a global law firm, where she conducted legal research and document review. She also served as a paralegal in the Kings County District Attorney’s office, where she prepared felony and misdemeanor cases for trial and grand jury presentation.
While attending Cornell Law School, Sidne served as an associate editor of the Journal of Law and Public Policy and President of the Black Law Students Association. She also practiced as a student attorney for the Gender Justice Clinic, Juvenile Justice Clinic, and Capital Punishment Clinic.
Sidne has an intermediate proficiency in Mandarin.
