SABRINA PALACIOS focuses her practice on product liability and mass torts litigation, as well as commercial litigation and disputes. Sabrina has a diverse range of experience dealing with nationwide federal multidistrict litigation (MDL) practice and consolidated proceedings, where she has helped shape defense strategies for clients confronting high stakes claims across multiple jurisdictions. She has played key roles in all stages of litigation from developing initial pleading and briefing strategy to fact and expert preparation and discovery. She also maintains an active pro bono practice representing clients in prisoners’ rights and immigration matters.
Prior to joining Sidley, Sabrina was a judicial intern for The Honorable Joseph F. Bianco of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
While attending Cornell Law School, Sabrina served as a bench editor for the Cornell Moot Court Executive Board and as president and founder of Cornell’s Animal Legal Defense Fund. She received the “Irving B. Levenson Merit Scholarship” and was a semifinalist and quarterfinalist, respectively, in the 2022 Francis P. Cuccia Family and 2023 Faust F. Rossi Moot Court Competitions. She also participated in Cornell’s First Amendment Clinic, where she appeared in federal court on behalf of clinic clients. Sabrina has conducted extensive research on the cross-section of MDL practice and the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, as explored in her thesis regarding class settlements in MDL proceedings.
