Biography

PHILIP ROBBINS focuses his practice on cybersecurity and privacy matters. He has experience in cyber incident response, cyber and cryptocurrency-related investigations, and cybersecurity and data privacy compliance.

Philip has assisted clients in preparing for, and responding to, sophisticated cybersecurity incidents, including those involving ransomware and data exfiltration. He also has helped clients navigate their approach and responses to regulatory investigations and congressional inquiries. Philip’s experience spans across a wide variety of industries, including technology, financial services and insurance, aviation, and defense contractors.

Philip received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was a Technology Law and Policy Scholar and Law Fellow and received an M.P.S. in Strategic Cyberspace Operations and Information Management from George Washington University. He also completed a pro bono fellowship with the litigation team at Everytown for Gun Safety.

Prior to law school, Philip served as a cryptologic warfare officer in the U.S. Navy for seven years. He supported the National Security Agency and U.S. Cyber Command while stationed in Fort Meade, Maryland and Honolulu, Hawaii.
