
Biography
ENRRIQUE SANTA CRUZ’s practice focuses on energy and infrastructure matters.
Enrrique earned a J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 2023, where he was on the Dean’s List from 2020–2021. Prior to law school, he graduated, summa cum laude, with a BBA in management and entrepreneurship from St. Mary’s University in 2020. Enrrique was commended as the “Business Management Student of the Year” in 2019.
During law school, Enrrique served as chief technology editor of the Houston Business and Tax Law Journal (2022–2023). He also obtained a clerkship with Judge Frances H. Stacy, United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas (2017).
Enrrique speaks native Spanish.

- Oil and gas operator Presidio Investment Holdings in its estimated US$660 million business combination with EQV Ventures Acquisition Corp. (NYSE: EQV), a special purpose acquisition company, to form Presidio Production Company (pending).
- Stonepeak, a leading alternative investment firm specializing in infrastructure and real assets, on its US$1.3 billion preferred equity investment into Princeton Digital Group (PDG).
- Kentucky Power Company, a subsidiary of American Electric Power Company, Inc., and Kentucky Power Cost Recovery LLC in the issuance of Series 2025 Senior Secured Recovery Bonds valued at US$477.7 million to recover certain extraordinary costs.
- EnCap Energy Transition in its divestiture of its interests in Triple Oak Power, a developer of renewable power generation projects.
- Southwestern Electric Power Company, a subsidiary of American Electric Power Company, Inc., in the issuance of Series 2024-A Senior Secured Storm Recovery Bonds valued at US$336.7 million to recover certain storm recovery costs, including carrying charges, related to Hurricanes Laura and Delta and winter storm Uri, and fund a new storm recovery reserve account.
