JASON ZHU advises a broad spectrum of clients—including borrowers, creditors, sponsors, direct lenders, distressed investors, and debt funds—across a diverse array of restructuring and financing matters. His practice centers on liability management and special situations, with a focus on complex, cross-border restructuring plans and transactions. Jason has significant experience structuring and executing debt exchanges, distressed investments, acquisitions, and financings, as well as both in-court and out-of-court reorganizations. He regularly handles direct lending deals, rescue and DIP financings, exit financings, and other high-yield transactions across the United States, Europe, and Asia.
