Joy leads Sidley’s Hong Kong practice focused on the intersection of blockchain with asset management. This includes advising on the establishment of virtual asset funds and tokenized funds, the issue of non-fund virtual assets and the licensing requirements to service the virtual assets ecosystem. Joy acted on the first open ended and closed ended tokenized funds in Asia and secured the first SFC approval of an actively managed virtual asset fund permitting in kind subscriptions and redemptions.

James CK Ho is Director Of Strategic Partnerships at Animoca Brands. A seasoned design and tech builder, James honed his skills working on some of the world’s most famous brands and blossomed into a well-versed entrepreneur. He’s founded two companies, namely POCA Design and Digital Vantage, and has worked with notable brands such Chanel, LVMH, Audemars Piquet, Sotheby’s, and many more. Entering the blockchain space 3.5 years ago James brings his proven strategic acumen and his expertise in crafting cohesive ecosystems to driving this exciting industry forward. At Animoca he currently oversees Strategic Partnerships, Deal-Flow, Investments and Ecosystem Growth.
Gillian Wu, CEO, Huobi Asset Management
Gillian has over 17 years of investment management experience. Prior to joining Huobi AM, she was the Chief Investment Officer and Chairman of the Investment Committee for Anbang Asset Management (HK) Limited, overseeing an aggregate of USD 4.5B of AUM. Before Anbang, she was head of the Hong Kong branch for Dutch Asset Manager Delta LLoyd, oversaw over Euro 2B AUM, served both retail and institutional investors.
Ryan Miller, Director, Head of Sales, OSL
Ryan has 20 years of experience in flow trading, brokerage and sales covering digital assets, FX, options, equities and other financial products. In his role, he leads OSL’s overall sales activities including client acquisition and management as well as business development and product creation. Prior to joining OSL, Ryan held senior roles at top-tier financial services companies, such as LMAX, Newedge and Cantor Fitzgerald across Asia, Europe and South Africa.
Sophia Shluger, Managing Director, Europe, Amber Group
Sophia Shluger is the Managing Director for Amber Group in the UK, responsible for institutional expansion both in the UK and across EMEA. A financial services executive and global business development professional, she has 10+ years of track record and deal-making experience from Goldman Sachs, XP, Santander Investment Securities and American Express, among others. Before transitioning into digital assets, she worked in an investment advisory capacity within FX, equities, equity derivatives and private debt, with a focus on Latin America and responsibility for building out new commercial relationships and investment businesses.
