Fares Chehabi

FARES CHEHABI counsels private equity funds, growth equity funds, and privately held companies in connection with mergers and acquisitions, equity investments, and other significant transactions. Fares regularly represents clients in the technology, financial services, and business and consumer services industries.

Fares received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was a Public Interest Fellow and earned the distinction of Exceptional Pro Bono Pledge Honoree. While attending law school, Fares worked for the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands, helping individuals navigate immigration and welfare issues.

Prior to law school, Fares received a B.A. in economics from Vanderbilt University.

• D2 Asset Management in its US$280 million minority investment in Unlock Technologies.
• Arsenal Capital Partners in its acquisition of Knowtion Health.
• Athletic Brewing Company in its US$50 million capital raise led by General Atlantic.
• Totango in its merger with Catalyst.
• Sixth Street Partners in its investment in Keyfactor.
• Rail Modal Group in its US$50 million capital raise from The Baupost Group.
• Wafra in its investment in Spotless Brands.
• H.I.G. in its sale of Eruptr LLC.
