Sidley Shortlisted for Deal of the Year and Attorney of the Year at D CEO Mergers & Acquisition Awards 2026

Sidley was shortlisted as a finalist for “Deal of the Year” in the $1 Billion + category at D CEO’s Mergers & Acquisitions Awards 2026. The matter involved one of the largest U.S. private equity investments in an Indian-founded healthcare technology company and was reported by Bloomberg as the largest M&A transaction in India in the first half of 2025. The transaction highlights the continued growth and global integration of India’s healthcare IT sector, as well as strong international demand for tech-enabled business process and revenue cycle management platforms serving U.S. healthcare clients from India and other offshore locations. Sidley’s cross-border deal team was led by partners Scott Parel, Aaron J. Rigby, and Parthiv Rishi, who guided the transaction through complex international and sector-specific considerations.

In addition, Scott Parel, a partner based in Dallas, was named a finalist for “Attorney of the Year” at the 2026 awards. The annual D CEO Mergers & Acquisitions Awards honor standout financial transactions and the dealmakers who drive them.
