On January 16, 2025, Deere & Company (“Deere”) closed an SEC-registered offering of US$1.25 billion of 5.450% senior notes due 2035 and US$750 million of 5.700% senior notes due 2055. Sidley represented Barclays Capital Inc., BofA Securities, Inc., Citigroup Global Markets Inc., HSBC Securities (USA) Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, MUFG Securities Americas Inc., RBC Capital Markets, LLC, and TD Securities (USA) LLC as representatives for the several underwriters in connection with the offering.
Deere (NYSE: DE) is a global leader in the production of agricultural, turf, construction, and forestry equipment and solutions.
The deal team was led by Ed Petrosky, Bart Sheehan, and Alex Csordas, and included Demetrius Watson and Kendell Lee. Nick Brown, Andrew Smith, and Michael Sliskovich provided tax advice.
