Sidley Represents Crystal Palace Football Club

Sidley is representing premier league football club, and 2025 FA Cup winners, Crystal Palace Football Club in relation to the proposed sale of the approximate 43% stake held by Eagle Football Holdings Bidco Limited.

The shares are being acquired by an entity owned by U.S. businessman Woody Johnson, who is also the owner of the New York Jets and former U.S. ambassador to the United Kingdom.

Completion is subject to approval, inter alia, from the English Premier League and the Women’s Super League.

The London-based team was led by Private Equity partner James MacArthur, with support from managing associate Beatrice McGuire and associate Abdullah Shah.
