Sidley Represents Appalachian Power Company and Appalachian Power Recovery Funding LLC in US$1.3 Billion Issuance of Senior Secured Bonds

Sidley represents Appalachian Power Company, a subsidiary of American Electric Power Company, Inc., and Appalachian Power Recovery Funding LLC in the issuance of Series 2026-A Senior Secured SAC Bonds valued at US$1,375,500,000 to recover certain securitized asset costs.
The team was led by Robert Stephens, George Vlahakos, Mario Samos, and Evan Grosch, and included Julia Turner and William Hendrickson (all Energy and Infrastructure); Angela Richards (Tax); Sonia Barros (Capital Markets); Carla Teodoro (Investment Funds); and Eric Ma (Tax).
