Sidley is representing The Hartford in its acquisition of Equitable’s Employee Benefits business, helping to accelerate The Hartford’s growth strategy in this sector. The business focuses on providing small and mid-size employers with flexible, non-medical benefits.
The Sidley team is being led by Perry Shwachman, John White, and JD Heinz (Insurance), and includes Andrew Holland and Ramia Mitchell (Insurance); Phillip Smith (M&A); Karim Pirani and Lindsay Fisher-McFarland (Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation); Natalie Chan (Employment); Nathan Enfield and Cade Geldreich (Tax); Mary Marks (Antitrust); Stephen McInerney (Privacy and Cybersecurity); and Kedrick Glinski (Commercial Litigation and Disputes).
