Biography
ED BELOTTE focuses his broad-based lending practice on representing commercial banks, private credit funds, private equity and financial sponsors, hedge funds, insurance companies, and public and private companies as lenders, lead arrangers, and agents in senior secured and unsecured credit facilities, first lien and second lien financings, recapitalizations and acquisition financing, cash flow-based lending, and asset-based lending in both syndicated financings and direct lending transactions. In addition, he has experience negotiating subscription credit facilities, NAV facilities, and hybrid facilities.
Ed has advised on credit facilities, including debt financing and senior secured loans for teams, owners, leagues, lenders, investors, groups, and sponsors as well as mezzanine and subordinated investments in, and acquisitions of, major professional sports teams and expansion teams.
While attending St. John’s University School of Law, Ed served as the associate managing editor of the New York International Law Review and was a Real Estate fellow in the Mattone Family Institute for Real Estate Law.
