TOM COLLIER is a managing associate in the firm’s Chicago office and a member of the litigation group. His practice includes commercial and civil disputes, M&A litigation, securities litigation, and white collar and internal investigations.
Tom’s experience includes conducting fact investigation; preparing witnesses to testify in depositions and at trial; writing dispositive motions; and managing electronic reviews and productions.
Tom graduated with honors from the University of Chicago Law School, where he earned the Ephraim Prize for the best article by any U.S. law student in the field of Law and Economics as well as the Sidley Austin Prize for excellence in the Law School’s first-year brief writing program. Tom graduated cum laude from Yale University with a B.A. in Political Science.
Tom previously clerked for the Honorable Steven C. Seeger of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Before practicing law, Tom worked as a public affairs consultant in Washington, D.C., where he directed successful advocacy campaigns for a Fortune 50 client.
