PAUL GEORGE, JR. focuses his practice on secured lending, acquisition financing, and other leveraged finance transactions where he represents banks, private equity firms, hedge funds, and other financial institutions, as well as public and private companies in a variety of complex financing transactions and at all levels of the capital structure.
Prior to joining Sidley, Paul was a corporate attorney at various firms, including a global law firm, where he primarily represented financial institutions and private and public companies in connection with debt and equity financing, real estate joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and secured and unsecured lending facilities.
Prior to practicing law, Paul practiced corporate tax consulting and compliance at a Big Four accounting firm in Miami for two years. Paul is also a certified public accountant.
While attending the University of Notre Dame Law School, Paul served as vice president of the Transactional Law Team. He also served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Beth Bloom of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
