
Biography
ALEXANDER HIRSHFELD focuses his practice primarily on warehouse and syndicated lending and securitization transactions, asset-based lending, Section 4(a)(2) private placements, project finance, cross-border financing transactions, private placements of equity and hybrid securities, Rule 144A, Regulation D and Regulation S offerings, acquisition finance, and corporate restructuring and workout transactions. Alex has extensive experience representing Australian and New Zealand issuers in connection with Section 4(a)(2) private placements, 144A transactions and bank financing arrangements.
Alex regularly represents issuers, borrowers, senior and mezzanine lenders, insurance company lenders, underwriters, trustees, investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds, private equity funds and alternative credit providers. He has extensive experience with a wide range of asset classes, including consumer receivables (such as credit card, auto loan, point-of-sale loan and other consumer receivables), residential real-estate assets (such as single-family rental (SFR), home equity investment (HEI), HELOC and other residential assets), equipment finance, and single-asset financing for data centers, power generators, airports and transmission networks.
Alex’s experience includes serving as senior counsel for a full-service provider of capital and leveraged finance solutions, including credit and growth capital solutions for middle-market companies in the U.S., broadly-syndicated loan investments and structured credit, including CLO formation and CLO warehouse, equity and debt investments. Among others, Alex’s experience included advising listed and unlisted business development companies, closed-end funds and the advisory platform’s registered investment advisors on SEC reporting and regulatory compliance and financing solutions.
