Biography
DUNCAN MACGREGOR works on a broad range of contentious disputes, including litigation in the High Court of England & Wales, international arbitration, and inquiries.
Duncan also has a breadth of experience advising clients in relation to contentious regulatory matters, including on product liability in the consumer, manufacturing, and defence sectors.

Recent examples of Duncan’s work include advising:
- An international oil & gas client in a multi-billion dollar ad-hoc arbitration;
- A UK Government client participating in the Post Office Inquiry;
- A leading Irish liquidity fund provider in Equality Act 2010 proceedings arising from EU sanctions;
- A UK Government client in Commercial Court proceedings relating to alleged breach of statutory duties;
- An international manufacturing company in Commercial Court proceedings regarding alleged breach of contract; and
- An international consumer products company in relation to claims arising under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

Community Involvement
Pro Bono
Duncan maintains an active pro bono practice, with recent experience including:
- Advising families of vulnerable children applying for British citizenship;
- Providing ad-hoc product liability advice to a major UK charity; and
- Supervising undergraduate students presenting to sixth-form students on contemporary legal topics.
