DUNCAN MACGREGOR works on a broad range of contentious disputes, including litigation in the High Court of England & Wales, international arbitration, and inquiries.

Duncan also has a breadth of experience advising clients in relation to contentious regulatory matters, including on product liability in the consumer, manufacturing, and defence sectors.

Recent examples of Duncan’s work include advising:

• An international oil & gas client in a multi-billion dollar ad-hoc arbitration;
• A UK Government client participating in the Post Office Inquiry;
• A leading Irish liquidity fund provider in Equality Act 2010 proceedings arising from EU sanctions;
• A UK Government client in Commercial Court proceedings relating to alleged breach of statutory duties;
• An international manufacturing company in Commercial Court proceedings regarding alleged breach of contract; and
• An international consumer products company in relation to claims arising under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

Duncan maintains an active pro bono practice, with recent experience including:

• Advising families of vulnerable children applying for British citizenship;
• Providing ad-hoc product liability advice to a major UK charity; and
