KYLE TANZER represents individuals and corporations in a broad array of complex commercial disputes throughout the United States, including breach of contract, class action, and antitrust litigation. Kyle also advises clients on internal and U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) investigations.
Prior to joining Sidley, Kyle was an associate at an international firm in New York, where he advised a public chemical company on mass tort litigation and financial institutions on complex commercial disputes. After two years of practicing in New York, Kyle joined a global firm in Florida, where he advised national and international clients on complex commercial disputes, including breach of contract, business torts, restrictive covenants, and trade secrets.
Kyle earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Notre Dame Law School, and was a member of the Moot Court Trial Team. Kyle also worked as a mediator through the Notre Dame Law School Mediation Clinic, where he facilitated settlement agreements relating to civil and family law matters. During law school, Kyle was a judicial intern for the Honorable David G. Larimer in the United States District Court for the Western District of New York. Kyle received his B.A. in Accounting and Human Resources Management, with a minor in Management from McGill University.
