Iva S. Todorova

IVA TODOROVA focuses her practice on all aspects of EU competition law, including merger control, abuse of dominance, cartels, and state aid.

Her experience covers several industry sectors, including life sciences, fashion, technology, payment services, and finance.

Prior to joining Sidley, Iva worked at the Brussels office of another international law firm. She also worked as a trainee at the Directorate General for Competition at the European Commission, where she focused on merger control and various policy projects.

Iva's experience includes advising:

• Stellex Capital Management LLC on the acquisition of the environmental technology business from Dürr Group.
• Siris Capital Group in the antitrust aspects of its US$591 Million Sale of Fiery.
• Clearlake Capital and Francisco Partners on antitrust aspects of it's US$2.1 Billion Acquisition of Software Integrity Group.
• Coupang, Inc. on the antitrust aspects of its acquisition of the business and assets of fashion retailer Farfetch Holdings plc.
