TU TU focuses his practice on M&A, private equity, reinsurance, and other corporate transactions in the insurance and financial services industries. He represents insurance companies, insurance intermediaries, private equity sponsors, institutional investors, and other financial services institutions in connection with mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, private equity investments, and reinsurance transactions, as well as securities offerings and corporate finance matters.

Tu received his J.D. from University of Pennsylvania Law School and his B.A., cum laude, from Cornell University. While in law school, he served as the executive editor and the research editor of the University of Pennsylvania Asian Law Review. Prior to joining Sidley, Tu interned at the in-house legal department of a major holding corporation.

Tu is fluent in Mandarin.
