TOMMER YOKED is a partner in Sidley’s Houston office. Tommer’s practice focuses on representing public and private companies, private equity sponsors and management teams in global investments, mergers and acquisitions and projects in the energy and infrastructure industries, including assisting clients in acquisitions and divestitures, joint ventures, project development, financings and other corporate matters. Tommer also advises start-ups and emerging ventures in the technology industry through Sidley’s Emerging Enterprises Pro Bono Program.
Tommer earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from The University of Michigan Law School. While attending law school, Tommer was a contributing editor on the Michigan Journal of International Law and a Parliamentary Intern for the South African Human Rights Commission in Cape Town, South Africa. Tommer graduated magna cum laude, with a B.A. in economics from The College of New Jersey.
