Sidley Partners Kenneth Polite and Justin Savage to Speak at the 2023 SEMA Show on Emissions Compliance and Risk Management

Sidley partners Kenneth Polite and Justin Savage will serve as panelists during the upcoming Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show hosted October 31 through November 3 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The SEMA show is the premier trade show in the US$400+ billion automotive aftermarket industry and features 2,400 exhibitors from a range of companies in the industry, including manufacturers and suppliers of automotive accessories, major automakers, and leading aftermarket manufacturers.

Their panel, titled “Creating and Implementing an Effective Compliance Program to Manage EPA and CARB Risks,” will discuss the latest regulatory and enforcement developments that shed light on compliance expectations for emissions in the aftermarket. The presenters will also offer steps that can be taken to manage those risks. They will be joined by panelists David Garrett, President and Principal of Garrett & Associates, Inc., Peter Treydte, Director of Emissions Compliance at SEMA, and Frank Bohanan, Consultant at GreenSpeed Automotive.
