Federal scrutiny of employer PERM (permanent labor certification) practices has intensified, with recent DOJ and EEOC settlements, DOL suspensions of PERM processing, and the risk of debarment from the program raising new questions about exposure for companies that sponsor foreign workers for green cards. In this webinar, partners from our immigration, employment and administrative litigation practices will review these developments, including the interplay between the Immigration and Nationality Act, Title VII, and DOL’s PERM regulations. They will discuss strategies for responding to government inquiries and potential administrative litigation. They will also offer practical steps HR and legal teams can take now to minimize their exposure in PERM recruitment and recordkeeping.

Speakers

  • Daniel J. Hay, Partner, Regulatory Litigation
