Sidley Honored at IFLR Asia-Pacific Awards 2024

International Financial Law Review (IFLR) has honored Sidley with a set of accolades at the IFLR Asia-Pacific Awards 2024. Sidley has won the “Restructuring Team of the Year” award and a Sidley matter, the US$10.2 billion Sunac debt restructuring, has been recognized as the “Restructuring Deal of the Year.” Additionally, Jacob Zhao, a registered foreign lawyer in the Capital Markets group in the firm’s Hong Kong office, has received the “Rising Star Award – International Firm.”

The annual awards highlight the most innovative deals to reach financial close in the prior year, celebrating “work that breaks new legal ground, develops the legal framework for cross-border corporate finance, and improves the investment environment.”
