Jayanthi Sadanandan Named “Banking & Finance – International Lawyer of the Year” at Women in Business Law EMEA Awards 2026

Jayanthi Sadanandan, co-leader of Sidley’s Leveraged Finance practice and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, has been named the winner of the “Banking & Finance – International Lawyer of the Year” category at the Women in Business Law EMEA Awards 2026. The annual awards recognize outstanding women lawyers who have built innovative, market-leading practices and distinguished themselves as leaders in the profession.

Jay is a Chambers Band 1-ranked leveraged finance lawyer with more than two decades of experience advising private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, corporates, and other clients on a broad range of complex financing transactions. She has practised in the UK, the U.S., and Asia, bringing extensive cross-border experience to domestic and international financings.
