Sidley Advises in Chelsea FC Women Investment by Seven Seven Six

Sidley advised Chelsea FC Women and its affiliates in an investment by Seven Seven Six, the investment group founded by Alexis Ohanian. The club ownership group will continue to be the controlling shareholder of Chelsea FC Women, with Ohanian joining as a minority shareholder.

The Sidley team was led by Mehdi Khodadad, Mark Castiglia, and Adam Runcorn (M&A and Private Equity), and includes Thomas Guzman and Jessica Edwards (M&A and Private Equity); Jason Menzies, Rachel Kleinberg, and Jonathan Westreich (Tax); James Crooks and Henry Sasse (Global Finance); and Kyle Barnett (Technology Transactions).
