Sidley Advises MARA Holdings on Energy, Rail, and Oil and Gas Matters in US$1.5 Billion Acquisition of Long Ridge Energy & Power
Sidley is representing MARA Holdings, Inc. in connection with energy regulatory, rail, and oil and gas matters related to its acquisition of Long Ridge Energy & Power LLC from FTAI Infrastructure Inc. MARA is an energy and computer infrastructure company deploying digital energy technologies to advance the world’s energy systems.
The transaction includes a 505 MW combined-cycle gas power plant in Hannibal, Ohio, more than 1,600 acres supporting an integrated digital infrastructure campus, and an extensive upstream proven Utica and Marcellus position, including producing gas wells and significant gas reserves. The platform includes a vertically integrated fuel supply and access to rail infrastructure and is positioned to support more than 1 GW of potential capacity.
