Sidley Represents Bio-Techne in Its US$11.3 Billion Acquisition by Merck KGaA

Sidley represented Bio-Techne Corporation (NASDAQ: TECH), a nearly 50-year-old leading provider of life science tools, analytical technologies, and consumables, in its acquisition by Merck KGaA, a global science and technology company headquartered in Darmstadt, Germany. Merck, subject to customary closing conditions, will acquire Bio-Techne for US$73 per share in cash, representing a total enterprise value of approximately US$11.3 billion.
