
Biography
KYLE BARNETT focuses his practice on technology and life sciences transactions. Kyle counsels clients primarily in the area of intellectual property and technology transactions including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic alliances, IP licenses, software development and licensing, outsourcing, and other commercial arrangements.
Kyle received his J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and a board member of the Science and Technology Law Review. He received a B.A. in political science from Brigham Young University.

- Starwood Property Trust, Inc. (NYSE: STWD) in its US$2.2 billion acquisition of Fundamental Income Properties, LLC. (pending).
- Thompson Street Capital Partners in its acquisition of Bubbakoo’s Burritos.
- Chelsea FC Women and its affiliates in an investment by Seven Seven Six, the investment group founded by Alexis Ohanian.
- Precisely, a provider of cloud-based data integrity solutions, in its acquisition of DTS Software, a provider of software solutions for enterprise storage management.
