VICTORIA CIUDIN focuses on EU competition law and litigation. She advises clients across the full range of competition matters, with substantial experience in cartel and abuse of dominance investigations, state aid, the Foreign Subsidies Regulation, and merger control. Her work in antitrust investigations includes leniency and settlement proceedings, as well as matters involving interim measures.
Victoria has substantial experience in litigation before the EU and national courts. Her EU court experience includes proceedings concerning access to documents relating to state aid investigations (Case T‑225/24* and the related appeal, Case C‑715/25 P*). She also represents clients in follow-on damages litigation arising from alleged infringements of competition law before national courts.
Beyond competition law, Victoria’s contentious practice extends to broader EU regulatory litigation. She has acted in challenges to EU trade defense measures (Case T‑110/24*) and in automotive-sector litigation concerning the application of EU CO₂ emissions performance (Cases T‑1024/23* and T‑596/25*).
From 2023 to 2024, Victoria served as a référendaire (legal clerk) to the President of the First Chamber of the General Court of the European Union. In that role, she worked on cases involving state aid, restrictive measures, and intellectual property, gaining first-hand insight into EU substantive and procedural law.
Victoria holds a dual degree in common and civil law. Her grounding in both legal traditions enables her to readily understand and bridge differing legal concepts to the benefit of multinational clients navigating cross-border matters.
