MATT DIAZ focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, representing buyers and sellers, including private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, strategic acquirors, and founder-owned businesses, in acquisitions, divestitures, and other complex corporate transactions.

Matt has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers (2024–2026).

While attending Harvard Law School, Matt served as the deputy managing editor of the Harvard Business Law Review.

• Phlur, a fragrance and personal care company, in its sale to TSG Consumer Partners.
• Tsunami Express Car Wash, a portfolio company of Point72 Asset Management, in its acquisition of a newly formed SPV owning 50+ car wash locations from Whistle Express Car Wash.
• Adlumin, Inc., a provider of security operations platforms, in its sale to N-able, Inc. (NYSE: NABL).
• BlueMatrix, an end-to-end content creation and distribution platform, in its sale to Thoma Bravo.
