LOUISA KIU practices in the Investment Funds group in the firm’s Boston office.
Her practice focuses on representing mutual funds, private funds and their investment advisers. Louisa has experience in matters related to the Investment Company Act of 1940 and has participated in a variety of transactions for registered investment companies, including fund formations and complex fund mergers. In addition, she advises investment advisers on the structuring, documentation and offering of U.S. and non-U.S. private funds, including hedge funds, closed-end credit funds and real estate funds.
Prior to joining Sidley, Louisa worked as a legal assistant in the Global Alternative Investments practice of a large, international law firm.
