Joshua Kopel

JOSH KOPEL represents a wide variety of clients in domestic and cross-border matters, including investment banks, asset managers, originators, and investors across a broad range of structured finance products. Josh’s work encompasses an array of asset classes, such as both broadly syndicated and middle-market collateral loan obligations (CLOs), credit card receivables, auto loans and leases, aviation leases, data centers, trade finance, mortgages, and R-PACE loans. In addition, Josh regularly advises clients with respect to regulatory matters, including the U.S. federal securities laws, the U.S. Risk Retention Rules, the Volcker Rule, and the Investment Company Act.

Prior to joining Sidley, Josh was an associate at another global law firm in the securitization and structured finance group.
