Ivana represents both established and emerging managers in the organization, structuring, and launch of private investment funds, managed accounts, and customized investment solutions in the United States and internationally. She also counsels money managers and institutional investors on acquiring and disposing of fund interests and establishing co-investment arrangements. Her practice spans the full suite of sponsor and fund formation matters; marketing and fundraising; investment activities; operational issues, including complex fund restructurings and sponsor-led secondary transactions; and internal sponsor arrangements such as mergers, spinoffs, majority and minority stake transactions, profit-sharing arrangements, and seed investments.

Ivana advises on a wide array of fund types, including energy and infrastructure funds, credit and loan origination vehicles, blockchain and cryptocurrency funds, buyout and growth equity funds, opportunistic and real estate funds, fund-of-funds, hedge and hybrid funds, venture funds, permanent capital vehicles, special-purpose vehicles, and “funds of one,” as well as co-investment structures. She is particularly known for advising on innovative and alternative fund structures that require nuanced industry insight.

Ivana has played a key role in developing Houston’s investment funds community and is a frequent speaker on trends in the private funds market, including emerging issues in the digital asset and cryptocurrency space. She has held numerous leadership positions in various industry organizations and is an advisory board member of the Private Equity Chief Financial Officer Association.
