JILLIAN SHERIDAN STONECIPHER represents clients in a wide range of litigation in trial and appellate courts in matters involving, among other things, administrative and constitutional law, intellectual property, and contracts. Jillian advocates for her clients from complaint through appeal, leading teams writing critical motions and briefs, presenting compelling oral argument, developing litigation strategy, and taking cases to trial. She has worked with clients on a broad range of matters, including matters involving pharmaceuticals, healthcare regulations, the First Amendment, and professional associations.
Prior to joining Sidley, Jillian served as a law clerk for the Honorable Gregg J. Costa of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and for the Honorable Barbara M. G. Lynn, chief judge of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
Jillian received her J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School and her undergraduate degrees from the University of Texas at Austin where she served as editor in chief of The Daily Texan.
