HELEN THEUNG represents public and private companies in a broad range of securities offerings, corporate governance matters and merger and acquisition transactions, with a focus on technology and life sciences companies. Helen co-authored an article in the Stanford Technology Law Review on emerging stem cell technology and its effects on property law.
Helen earned her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law where she was an editor for the Hastings Science and Technology Law Journal and member of the Hastings Negotiation and Mediation Team. While in law school, Helen also served as an extern for The Honorable Judge Susan Y. Illston at the U.S. District Court, Northern District of California, and The Honorable Justice Martin J. Jenkins at the California Court of Appeals, 1st District. Helen graduated with a B.A. in Law and Society from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
