On November 14, 2018, the UK government published a joint statement from the EU and the UK announcing a consensus at the negotiators’ level on the draft agreement on the withdrawal of the UK from the EU (the Draft Withdrawal Agreement).
On November 22, 2018, the UK government published a draft political declaration on the future relationship between the UK and the EU (the Draft Political Declaration).

The EU held an emergency Brexit summit on November 25, 2018, at which the leaders of the European Council endorsed the Draft Withdrawal Agreement and the Draft Political Declaration.
The UK is scheduled to withdraw from the EU on March 29, 2019, pursuant to the UK’s notification under article 50 of the Treaty on European Union.
