ADRIAN ZHANG focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions and private equity.

Adrian regularly advises private equity sponsors and investment firms, as well as private companies, on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, dispositions, carve-outs, preferred equity investments, joint ventures and other corporate transactions across a wide range of industries.

Adrian received his LL.B. and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales. He is admitted to practice in New York and New South Wales, Australia.

• Ancala, an independent infrastructure manager, in its acquisition of a portfolio of pipeline-connected sites and storage facilities for the production, storage, and transportation of critical chemical intermediates from Hexion, an American Securities portfolio company.
• One Equity Partners, a middle market private equity firm, in connection with its investment in Brown & Root Industrial Services (“Brown & Root”) alongside partner KBR, and in Brown & Root’s acquisition of Specialty Welding and Turnarounds.
• Funds advised by Wafra Inc. in the acquisition of Aquila Air Capital from funds managed by Warburg Pincus LLC.
• TowerBrook Capital Partners L.P. in the acquisition of CBTS from altafiber (formerly doing business as Cincinnati Bell).
• US Acute Care Solutions, a national leader in physician-owned emergency medicine, hospitalist, observation, and critical care services, in its acquisition of Alteon Health.
• Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe and United Musculoskeletal Partners in its partnerships with Novum Orthopedic Partners.
• LifePoint Health, Inc., a portfolio company of funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management, Inc., in LifePoint’s acquisition of a majority ownership interest in Springstone, a leading behavioral health provider.
• Raymond James on its joint venture with Eldridge Industries, called Raymond James Private Credit, to provide private credit solutions to sponsor-backed portfolio companies.
• EQT Private Equity in its acquisition of PRO Unlimited, a leading provider of modern workforce management solutions.
• PRO Unlimited in its acquisition of outsourced workforce management provider Geometric Results, Inc.
• Argos Health, a portfolio company of Welsh Carson Anderson and Stowe, in its merger with EnableComp.
• A leading private equity firm in its multibillion dollar acquisition of a Bermuda based insurance company.
