August 12, 2020
Sidley Environmental lawyers Heather Palmer and Anushka Rahman published an article in Texas Lawyer on COVID-19-induced challenges to the Texas oil and gas industry. The article focuses on industry opponents’ endeavors to slow or stop oil and gas drilling, claiming the virus exacerbates alleged negative health impacts from oil and gas emissions. Heather is a partner in our Houston office and has extensive experience advising oil and gas clients on environmental compliance. Anushka is an associate in our Washington, D.C. office and works closely with our Houston colleagues and clients to provide government agency insight on environmental regulatory enforcement matters.
