Sidley Represents Constellation in US$1.75 Billion Acquisition of Interest in South Texas Nuclear Power Station

Sidley assisted Constellation Energy Generation, LLC, as lead external counsel, in the US$1.75 billion acquisition of NRG Energy, Inc.’s 44% participation interest in the South Texas Project Electric Generating Station, a 2,645-megawatt nuclear power facility in Matagorda County, Texas.

Constellation’s legal team was led by Senior Vice President & Deputy General Counsel Nina Jezic from Constellation, with assistance from a Sidley team, led by Robert Stephens, Sarah Tucker, and Jeff Kinney (all Energy & Infrastructure).
