Sidley Represents Planet Financial Group in High-Yield Senior Notes Offering

Sidley represented Planet Financial Group, LLC (Planet) in connection with a high-yield Rule 144A offering of US$475.0 million aggregate principal amount of 10.50% Senior Notes due 2029. The company specializes in servicing residential mortgage loans and maintains origination and retention capabilities through a multi-channel approach. Planet is owned by fund vehicles controlled by MHR Fund Management LLC. MHR Fund Management LLC is a New York-based private equity firm that manages over US$5 billion of assets and has deep experience in the financial services industry, including investments in Planet, mortgage loans and related assets, consumer credit, and other areas.
