Sidley Represents Post Oak Energy Capital on Sale of Switchgrass E&P Holdco

Sidley represented Post Oak Energy Capital on the sale of Switchgrass E&P Holdco, its portfolio company with upstream assets operated primarily in Oklahoma’s South Central Oklahoma Oil Province (SCOOP). The transaction was structured as an equity sale and involved oil and gas assets, mineral interests, leases, wells, and related operating assets. During Post Oak’s ownership period, the company assembled a producing asset base and built a substantial inventory of future drilling locations, positioning the business for long-term development and value creation.

The Sidley team was co-led by partners David Buck and Jeremy Pettit, with assistance from Estella Serrano, Grace Binger, Bridger Page, Daniel Allison, Andrew Deas, Di Duan, and Brad Giacone.
